I should have taken a picture of the whole bulletin board too before I took it down but, for some reason, didn't do that. This was part of my October bulletin board. We don't celebrate Halloween at our school so I like to do something fall related without being too Halloween-y. I got the idea from the October/November Teachers Mailbox magazine. ( Not entirely sure on the year.) First I had the kids color a picture of a crow printable from the magazine. Then we talked about things they could be proud of. Each student got a 1/2 piece of handwriting paper that they wrote their sentence on. I put all the crows on a bulletin board that had an orange background and the CUTEST border printed with candy corn. I did this the first couple of years with my students and hadn't done it for awhile. I remembered why I loved it in the first place! Next year I will have to take a picture of the finished product.
