Currently August

So, I totally have summer brain. I saw someone had posted their currently for August and I thought "WHAT?! August already"...but yes, sure enough it is.  This summer has gone by CRAZY fast.

So here I am today, linking up with Farley for her Currently linky ,because it is indeed August. :)

Listening:

This is one of Peanuts favorite shows. She gets to watch a little extra TV, mommy gets to have a little extra computer time. It works outs. ;)

Loving:

I am SUPER amazed by those of you who can only go in the week before school starts and STILL make your rooms functional and beautiful. Every year I change my room up a little and think " Ok, THIS is the best layout. This is the best my room has ever looked." But this year I really think I am right. :)

Thinking:

After I made my Text Connection Bookmarks I started thinking about some other things that could go along with them. So I am working on making a whole packet and including the bookmarks in that.

Wanting:

So MANY great giveaways. It seems like every time I turn around someone is doing a giveaway...and they are ALWAYS awesome.

Needing:

We got a new math curriculum this year. It is Bridges. I am pretty excited about it...but also kind of overwhelmed. We do have two days of training next week but there was ALOOOOOOOOOT of stuff in the boxes when I was unpacking them.

Back to School Must Haves:

#1 is going back to school shopping with Peanut and my best friend Rhea. Peanut gets to be one of the big girls, we get to act like teenagers. It's GREAT! :)

#2 I found some cute team t-shirts through Teacher T-shirts. The best part is they aren't too girly because one of the teachers on my team is a guy.

#3 I have loved the idea of a classroom timeline since I saw this on Pinterest:

I just never had time to implement it. But then That's So 2nd Grade posted theirs and I LOVE it. That is at the top of my " to- buy" pile.
