Let's Get Aquainted Linky

I'm linking up with Latoya over at FLYING INTO FIRST for her Sunday Let's Get Acquainted linky party. I am super happy to actually link up with this one. I had a post half finished for last weeks linky and never finished it.
 
 
This week it is 2 truths and lie. You share 3 things about yourself and one of them is false. :)
 
Here are mine:
 
1. I once won an oatmeal pie eating contest by eating 9 of them in a row.
 
2. The movie Dirty Dancing helped me to be excited about having my daughter.
 
3. My daughter is named after the street my husband grew up on.
 
Can you guess which one are my truths and which one is a lie? :) ( Forgot to put this in originally, but I will tell my truths and lies in my Friday post. )
 
I am going to leave you with a sneak peak at the cover of the packet I am currently working on for TPT.
I am super OBSESSED with the chevron font and background. They are by TEACHING IN A SMALL TOWN. I LOVE it!

    Hmmm....I'm going to guess that your lie is about the pie eating contest. If it is true, that's pretty impressive..congrats! We're second grade teachers as well and happy we found your blog through the linky!

    Hi.
    My guess is Dirty Dancing helping you get excited about having a daughter. If that is actually true, I'm very curious about the story behind it.

    I think the lie is #1-never head of oatmeal pie, plus it would just lay like a lump in your stomach after the first slice, lol.
